Evening,
Phew, I hope you have managed ok in the heat today.
Definitely a time for trying to keep cool, nice cold drinks and ice cream.
Hope you can relax this evening...
I'm sharing a Pringle tube I altered for a Docrafts demonstration I did at the Range in Chatham on Saturday.
I used papers from the Mr Smiths Workshop range for a grungy look, the one I chose for the outside reminded me of the ridges on tin cans, inside was a plain paper with a patina, metallic look.
I added flowers that I made from the same papers, some lace and buttons to pretty it up.
The edges were finished by gilding with some gold paint.
Hope you enjoy and find some inspiration...
Once you've done one you can't stop!
Thank you for visiting.

What's coming up next
A mid week catch up from me before I head out today, a day off meeting my bestie for coffee and lunch.
It was lovely to be back with the ladies crafting yesterday and they did a great job and enjoyed learning how to use Altenew stamps.
We throughly enjoyed Toby's sticky toffee cake too, it was to die for and Maureen and I could have easily polished it all off!
I also have another sample to share with you made for this weekend's demo session.
I've used Docrafts adhesive stencils and acrylic paints to create a masterboard background which I used as the basis for the word dream, stencilled with their gold paint and mounted onto black card.
Finally the addition of a red bloom, separate petals and finishing with some of their buttons.
I'll be back with some more samples before the weekend, hope you have a good day.

Good evening, let me introduce you to Ralph
Hello,
Just time for a quick blog post and to introduce you to Ralph.
He a regular visitor at Mum's care home and came on Saturday when we were there..
He's a Ridgeback/Staffie cross and the most placid gorgeous boy.
As you can imagine the residents love him and his visits mean so much.
He just oves lots of fuss and tickles.
The rest of our weekend was spent relaxing, eating, drinking and watching the tennis, I have withdrawal symptoms now!
Not long until the Olympics though!
I'm also posting a couple of samples for my craft session tomorrow as I'm to back at The Meeting Place with crafty friends.
We'll be nattering, drinking coffee and eating delicious cake made by Toby.
I'll be showing how to use Altenew stamps and inks to create a summer and winter cards.
I promised the ladies we would make a start on Christmas cards early and they were happy at the thought of being organised.
That's me for this evening, off to get dinner and relax, it's a busy week this week.
Thanks for visiting today,

A few samples for the weekend
Thanks for visiting my blog this weekend,
Have you anything nice planned...
Hope you've had a good week, it's certainly been much improved on the weather front.
We're going to be settling down to watch the tennis.
Enjoying some leisure time, a few treats and Prosecco, don't mind if I do!
Today I have a few of the samples I have prepared for next Saturday 16th.
I'm doing a trial demo day for Docrafts at The Range in Chatham.
Really looking forward to this and I'll be running a Make and Take session.
Wish me luck!
It would be really great to see you if you are able to pop in.
Have a good weekend and take care,

Tropical Bird
Hello folks,
What a glorious day it's been!
Here's a quick teatime post from me.
This is the first card sample for next Tuesday's craft session at
The Meeting Place coffee shop and library
I've used stamp sets from Altenew, Winter Cardinal and Oriental Orchid.
I love the Cardinal and it doesn't just have to be for Christmas!
I'm looking forward to catching up with the ladies again and eating yummy cake!
Have a good evening,

Beach Hut Workshop
Morning,
I realised I hadn't blogged our Beach Hut workshop.
This post is very picture heavy as they all looked so fantastic I wanted to show them in all their glory and colour!
Each one so individual and creative.
Well done once again to my crafty group for such another lovely day!
