A very good morning to you all,
I hope this finds you well and having a good week so far...
Today I am bringing a photo round up of a fabulous weekend I spent with Ali and Iain from
Ali Craft.
They worked enormously hard to organise the craft retreat at The Daventry Court Hotel.
I drove there after picking up a friend from my local workshops, Maureen. Apart from Ali and Iain, I knew only one other crafty friend on arrival.
From the minute we arrived we were instantly made to feel right at home as part of the group and everyone was so friendly and welcoming.
Everything was laid on for the event and apart from crafting the time revolved around food!
Whether it be breakfast, lunch, dinner or every snack in between, we certainly didn't go hungry!
The project on Saturday was from DecoArt and the class was hosted by Barbara, as this post is very photo heavy I'll add my photo's from this in a separate post.
Ali asked me to design a new project for the Sunday workshop and here's what I came up with below.
I'm sure we'll see many more interpretations of this in the weeks to follow, it's such great fun to do.
Along with a round up of the class day in photo's, a couple of pics of the hotel and as I was away from my Nespresso coffee machine at home, the next best thing! The craft rooms all singing, all dancing drink as much as you like machine!
I was truly in my element and a big thank you to Ali and Iain for inviting me and all the lovely ladies I met who made me feel so welcome.
We had such a fabulous time and fun from start to finish.
Enjoy the rest of your week and as always a big thank you for popping in today.
Much love and crafty hugs xKx

One more sleep!
Hello lovely people,
The week is whizzing by once again.
It's been a real mix of weather and I've managed to get lots done including the packing and prep for this coming weekend away...
Only one more sleep until I set off for the Ali Craft Retreat in Daventry.
A super time planned crafting and so using with friends old and new.
I hope everyone likes the project I have prepared for the class on Sunday, I had fun doing it and it's fun and relaxing too.
I'm thrilled that the lovely Ali and Iain invited me to host this workshop in such a super venue, a big thank you goes to them and for all their planning and organisation.
In readiness I have another quick sneaky peek of our project which I'll leave you with and wish you a good day.
Thanks so much for visiting,

Meet Buzz!
Evening everyone,
Thanks for calling by this evening.
It's been a lovely day here and I've ticked jobs off my list so I'm just going to finish for now with a blog update.
On Saturday I had a really lovely day demoing Viva Decor Inka Golds at Lisa B's Extravaganza day.
Many crafty friends stopped by and I met some wonderful new craft friends too and a very special visitor who stole my heart for the day.
Let me introduce you to Buzz...
He was as good as gold and enjoyed all the fuss and attention.
I did do some work too! Lol
Here's the first of my finished samples that I made showing how to use the Inka Golds, one using a white Gesso base and the other black.
I'll be showing these techniques at my Kent class this Sunday as we will be using them on those projects too but in different ways.
I'll be back tomorrow with another update.
Have lovely evening.

Stunning Sweet Poppy Stencils
Hello many thanks for reading today,
Hope you had a lovely weekend,
I had a great one and the weather yesterday was glorious in Kent.
The forecast is looking great for this week too!
Today I have two MDF plaques to share with you using the wonderful Sweet Poppy Stencils.
The stunning Tiger is stencilled with Gold paste on a black painted background, I've also used the Leaf Border and Freedom from the Angelic Words stencil.
The Tree of Nature is on a lilac and mint painted background with tissue and medium for very simple texture and interest and Dreams from the Birthday Words stencil.
I'm off to do some chores and crafting before I retreat to the garden...
Have a lovely day.
