Here are the results from yesterday's workshop.

What better way to spend a day, creating with this easy fun technique.
Next workshop currently booking 23rd March here in Swanley, Kent and Coventry (limited spaces) on the 4th May.

New samples for Tarmac Technique Workshop on the 23rd
I tweaked the technique slightly for these samples which use one colour.
It was very much an experiment and I think it looks like patina/verdigris which was a real bonus.
Hope the ladies like them as much as I do! :-) xKx

Sweet Lilac New Challenge Starts Today - Baby Theme
Hope you can join us for this new challenge over at
Sweet Lilac Flowers where this months theme is Baby.
You could be in for a chance to win a gorgeous hamper of their flowers...
Congratulations to this months lucky winner.
My inspiration is actually the keepsake card and box I made for my lovely great niece Holly who arrived on the 23rd Dec just in time for Christmas!
It's been a while since we had a baby in our family so she'll be very spoilt, she's absolutely gorgeous!
Of course I'm completely biased!
I've used stamps from Darkroom Door Hello Baby set and of course the flowers, lace and crochet flower are from Sweet Lilac

Grunge Paste Bluebirds
Inspired by this month's Craft Stamper Masterclass from Anna-Karin Evaldsson.
My own take for this tag - Bluebird Nest.
Distressed tag with embossing, die cuts and textured bird die cuts.
Hopefully Spring is not far away!...

Thank You! :-)
Things have gone a bit mad for me! Lol
I can't reply individually to all the lovely messages I'm receiving both here and on my Facebook page but please know I'm overwhelmed by the support and feedback I'm receiving.
I'm just loving creating and loving that you like what I'm creating so from the bottom of my heart Thank You for all the support! All the time you like what I do I'll continue to do it!
I've been asked a lot about traveling to different areas to do workshops, of course I'd love to take this show on the road!
I need to think about the logistics about how to make this happen...
In the meantime if you have a craft shop that holds workshop near you ask them if they'd be interested in me holding a works hope there...
Now for some pictures, clocks I've made using Lavinia Stamps xKx

My first workshop at The Artistic Stamper
The weekend's flown by and I had the most lovely time yesterday at
The Artistic Stamper in Faversham with Jennie and Mal, who kept me topped up with copious amounts of instant cappuccino! Lol
I love the shop and it's atmosphere and the studio is really great.
I'd met all but one of the ladies before at the make and take I did there at Christmas.
I showed the ladies how to recreate their own little beach hut and we had such great fun with these.
At times you could hear a pin drop with the concentration that was going on.
I think they especially enjoyed all the finishing touches that bring the huts to life and give them their personality.
Work in progress and the results

Designs by Ryn Stamps, MDF Clock and The Meltpot = Shabby Vintage Clock
Today I have a brand new clock to share with you.
The lovely Ryn sent me some stamps to work with after she'd seen the laminated clocks I made up using her stamps last year.
These deeply etched stamps are superb quality and so lovely to work with, check them out here
Designs by Ryn Shop and Designs by Ryn Blog
I knew I wanted to design a new MDF clock and I thought the scallop square would be perfect.
Firstly the base was painted with cream paint and a square of card cut for my centre background design.
I made a mask for the Flower Lace 2 stamp and stamped this in victorian velvet to completely cover the background square.
I then used a selection of masks/stencils on this same piece and randomly sponged areas and shapes in walnut stain, worn lipstick and victorian velvet DI's.
Sponge gold embossing paste sponged through areas of the masks.
The beautiful Candra butterfly is stamped in walnut stain DI and embossed with clear embossing powder.
After blending the edges of the square card with walnut stain I then layered onto the contrasting coloured card layers.
The a Spiral Branch set was used to stamp on to the painted base, I stamped in walnut stain and clear embossed.
The outside elements were all coated in beeswax using the Meltpot.
I stamped Flower a Lace 2 and Candra and cut them out and the other elements are from the Tim Holtz Eiffel Tower and French Script texture fades embossing folder, I love this!
I've also used the Spellbinders Poinsettia a piece of scrim, seam binding and hat pins.
I stuck to the same colour DI's throughout, walnut stain, victorian velvet, worn lipstick and tattered rose.
I thoroughly enjoyed making this clock and working with Ryn's stamps and it was good to give my
Meltpot an airing again too!
Thank you Ryn and
Thanks also for looking at my blog today, I hope I've given you some inspiration...xKx

Beach Hut Workshop at The Artistic Stamper
I'm happy to be joining Jennie and Mal at The Artistic Stamper this Sat 8th where I'll be showing the ladies how to recreate this Beach Hut.
Well at least we can dream of some sunshine!
For this project I've used all Artistic Stamper Stamps, I'll blog the techniques after the workshop if you'd like to know more detail.
Here's my little bit of sunshine...xKx
