Using lots of things for the background texture and interest, torn paper, embossing paste through stencils, mesh ribbon, lace, cotton fabric to name but a few.
Adding some die cuts and steampunk charms then colouring with paints, mica sprays and gilding waxes.
I do love creating this texture and interest.
