Happy Halloween

Morning all,
I've had great fun with Halloween makes recently using
Bee Crafty All Hallows stamps and the Theatre Style Box from
Candy Box Crafts.
We also had a good day at my recent workshop here in Kent using the stamps to make CD clocks and    cards.
I'll leave you with a round up of them all this Halloween and my recent make below using the All Hallows Skull Background with Brusho's.
Cheers for looking today, crafty hugs xKx

Halloween with Candy Box Crafts

"Little Shop of Horrors"
Inspired by my years of working in Pharmacy!
Made using the fab Candy Box Crafts Punch and Judy Theatre Style Box which although I've had for a while now, I've known exactly what I wanted to do with it!
I've also used 12 x 12 papers from my Tim Holtz idea-ology laboratorie stash.
I had such fun creating this alternative pharmacy scene, I do hope you like it as much as I enjoyed making it!
Thanks so much for stopping by...xKx

Sunday Crafting with Lavinia Fairies and Toadstools and Bee Crafty All Hallows Stamps

Morning all,
Hope you had a lovely weekend, I spent mine crafting with friends at my workshop.
A relaxed, enjoyable day, chatting, drinking coffee and crafting.
We concentrated on clocks and the skill levels ranged from total beginner to very skilled.
Results below and I think they all look equally amazing, a really great job!
A mix of Halloween clocks, Fairies and Toadstools and something a bit special was created by my lovely friend Lisa that has inspired a new and future workshop project!
So that one remains under wraps for now.

Jones Crafts

A busy day prepping for this Sunday's workshop which I'm looking forward to.
Today I'm sharing a few recent makes using Marion Smith "Motley" papers from Jones Crafts.
A gorgeous selection of 12 x 12 papers so versatile and easy to use.

Christmas Workshop

Afternoon crafty friends,
The weather has been very grim here the last couple of days but I've been working on this cheery Christmas project for an up coming workshop on the 26th Oct.
It's here in Kent near Swanley and is booking now, it's a pre-booked workshop requiring a deposit.
For further info contact me craftyk@hotmail.co.uk
Bookings are being taken until Sunday 19th Oct.
I've used the Candy Box Crafts Large MDF Sleigh which is just delightful!
It's 310 x 165mm, they also make a smaller version 200 x110mm.
I've shown it here two ways one with chocolate treats and one with a large pillar candle.
It will make the most attractive Christmas table centrepiece or a wonderful gift, if you can bare to part with it...

Lavinia Stamps Autumn Colours

Good Morning,
Today is the start of the new Lavinia Stamps Challenge over on the blog with the theme of Autumn Colours.
Once again last month there were so many lovely entries, congratulations to the lucky winner who receives £40 to spend on the Lavinia Stamps website shop.
If you'd like to join in this month it's so easy as we accept EMAIL entries, so why not give it a go.
The rest if the Design Team have some wonderful inspiration for the theme this month so please take a look at their blogs too.
For my projects I used chalky paints brayered onto tags for the backgrounds.
I added various textures, gel medium, beads and glitters and some shimmer sprays.
The Ink Caps were repeat stamped with Archival Inks and the
Floral Spray and Fairy Pods were coloured with the paint.
I also used the Bubbles on the background stamped with paint.
Thanks so much for looking today and I hope you can join us in the challenge xKx

A Weekend with Finnabair!

Time hasn't allowed for much blogging lately so a bit of an update now.
On Friday I travelled to Middlesborough to meet up with some lovely crafty friends for a weekend of craftiness taught by the most lovely Finnabair (Anna Dabrowska)  and organised by the equally lovely
Sue Tucker, Art Workshops .
I've been inspired by Finn for so long now and have such admiration of her work so to actually take part in this weekend was an enormous highlight in my crafting journey and will stay with me always.
Apart from her talent I simply love her unintimidated approach to her art, it's so refreshing.
We stayed in the nearby Premier Inn and enjoyed evening meals in the pub next door, catching up on all our crafty chat and socialising.
Sat and Sun were two long days crafting, creating 3 projects in total, a 12 x 12 scrapbook page, mixed media canvas and a canvas journal cover with inside page layouts..
I loved all the projects and learnt a lot and would recommend the workshops to anyone interested if you get the opportunity.
I'll leave you with pictures from the weekend and I'll be back tomorrow with my usual Thursday spot with Lisa B Designs .
I am so thrilled to have had the opportunity to have the photo taken with Anna, for me it just sums everything up, Happy Days!
Have a good evening, I'm so looking forward to The Great British Bake Off Final!
