Lots of lovely Cuckoo clocks

Hello all,
Thanks so much for visiting this afternoon.
Despite the horrid weather here today we had a lovely crafting session this morning at
The Meeting Place.
I'll be sharing the ladies lovely makes but now it's time to catch up with the gorgeous Cuckoo clocks made on Sunday.
We were joined by two new members and it was great to see everyone sharing ideas and getting lost in their crafting.
We had lots to catch up on as it was our first monthly session since Christmas, so a good old natter lots of tea and yummy cake were all thoroughly enjoyed too.
There were many bargains to be had in the "shop sale."
It was such a super day spent in the company of truly great friends, can't ask for more than that, just perfect!
Our next class is in February and is fully booked, no March class and April and May are filling up now.
The Wednesday sessions are just turn up and run from 09.30 - 12.00, they have been a good introduction to the classes and the new ladies attending have certainly found their crafting skills and are well and truly hooked!
So here's some of the fantastic projects, a few more are having finishing touches added at home and I look forward to seeing them in all their glory.
I'm so proud of everyone's achievements and the ideas shared as everyone enjoys creating.

Time... for a blog update

Good evening,

Thank you for looking in.
I'm sharing a preview of the project we are doing at Sunday's craft class.
We are using a Tando Creative kit with stamps
and papers from Crafty Individuals.
We are going to be using the Cuckoo clock kit.
I was first introduced to this a few years ago at a class taught by the lovely Jean Hardy from Crafty Individuals and she was happy for me to put my own spin on it for my class.
Jean's class was very inspiring and she designs such lovely stamps and papers.
The last picture is my original clock made at Jean's class.
I'm so looking forward to this session and catching up with super friends while we natter and eat treats to keep us going while we craft.
Have a nice evening.
Love and crafty hugs xKk

Tea Time...

Good afternoon,
Thank you for joining me for a few minutes.
It's certainly much colder now and time for a warm up and a quick tea break with a hot cuppa.
This sample is for next Wednesday's craft session where we'll be using sets of Crafty Individual stamps, just ahead of the monthly workshop where we'll be using them for a Home Decor project.
I've stamped and decoupaged the various stamps onto a piece of background card, colouring with distress inks. Elements of these stamp sets work so well together and they're so pretty with a vintage style which I love.

Time to Craft

Good Afternoon,
Thanks so much for looking today.
Hope your week is going well, it's definitely turned colder here in Kent.
Today we were back at The Meeting Place for a CD clock workshop.
I really enjoyed the session and welcoming our newest member Jean to the group.
It's been great getting back into the crafting swing after the festive break, preparing and planning for the workshop sessions.
The Meeting Place is such a welcoming venue with lots of yummy treats and hot drinks to warm and comfort on chilly days, Krisha does us proud during our crafty activities.
We crafters do like our treats whilst crafting eh!...
The ladies felt that the idea of making a clock was way out of their comfort zone but broken down into a step by step guide they were delighted with their results and realised it really isn't rocket science.
I think they did an absolutely fantastic job and think the finished clock look brilliant!
This month's crafting themes/workshops use stamps from Crafty Individuals.
Enjoy your evening.

Time for something old and something new

Good Morning, thank you for visiting today.
I hope all is well with you and you enjoyed a good weekend.
We certainly did and now it's time to get started again on the jobs and preparation scheduled for this week.
This month I'm going to be re-visiting stamps I've owned for many years and still remain firm favourites in my stash from Crafty Individuals.
Today I am sharing with you a new CD clock design that we will be making at the craft session this Wednesday at The Meeting Place.
I've used Patchwork Birds and Flowers along with Distress Inks, such a versatile little set of stamps, I really love them.
So I'll leave you with this latest project as I head off to get started this morning.
Hope you have a good day.
Much love and crafty hugs xKx
