Astral Asparagus

Morning everyone,
Hope your week is going ok so far.
Just a quick mid-week blog post from me before I head off out and then back to tackling my To Do list.
I managed to slot in some play time on Monday with my Dylusions Paint and this super new stamp designed by Alisa Kay for Bee Crafty.
It's one of three designs, this one I've used is Astral Asparagus, I think they're such fun and so quirky, I love them!
It's the largest 19cm size on this canvas but also available in 7.5 and 12cm.
Anyway I played with the paints and some texture paste and added the Shoot for the Moon quote from one of the Wordage stamps in stock which will be added to the website soon.
I really enjoyed having fun with these.
Have a good day and I'll be back again soon.

Crafting on a rainy Sunday

Morning everyone,
Hope your week has got off to a good start, the weather looks more promising today here in Kent.
Better than on Sunday when we had our crafty workshop, luckily once inside with a cuppa and a biscuit, engrossed in crafting the weather outside was all forgotten.
It's a bit busy this week, later today I'm going to be working with Kasiercraft goodies from Jones Crafts in preparation for my demo at Coleman's Craft Warehouse on Saturday.
Anyway back to Sunday where we had fun with Martha Stewart craft clay which is light as a feather and air drying. The ladies were so surprised by it's light weight and versatility.
We also used the lovely Inka Golds, Brusho's and lots of other goodies to create with our clay and a few cards.
It was chilled and relaxed, we welcomed a new lady into our fold and recent my blog candy winner and her daughter also popped in for a cuppa and a natter which was really lovely.
I'll leave you with a brief look back at a few pics from the day, I LOVED everyone's clay creations and the cards were a bonus.
Next month which isn't far away we're all about introducing Folk Art.
Have a good day, back soon.

Upside Down

Yay, it's Friday!
A bit grey here today and rain forecast.
Hope your week has been good, have you anything nice planned for the weekend?
I've got a little crafty gathering on Sunday, we have a new lady joining us and we're looking forward to our crafty session.
We're going to be playing with Air dry clay, Inka Golds and Brusho's.
I've been experimenting and playing with ideas and have a couple to share with you.
Firstly a clay tag with two clay hearts, one from a mold and one from a cutter.
The second uses one of the new Ultimate Crafts Embossing Folders along with IndigoBlu, Limor Webber Industrial Lamps stamps, what a mouthful that is! Lol
I thought these could be turned upside down to create flowers, the one I've used looks like a Thistle so I think purple is in store for the next one.
I've loved using my Inks Golds again the last few weeks, they're so versatile and I didn't think I'd like the clay much but I can see endless possibilities and really enjoy using it.
Martha Stewart craft clay and molds and the Inka Golds are now in stock and will be available very soon - The Clock Lady.
Have a lovely Friday and I'll be back soon.

Meet Buzz!

Evening everyone,
Thanks for calling by this evening.
It's been a lovely day here and I've ticked jobs off my list so I'm just going to finish for now with a blog update.
On Saturday I had a really lovely day demoing Viva Decor Inka Golds at Lisa B's Extravaganza day.
Many crafty friends stopped by and I met some wonderful new craft friends too and a very special visitor who stole my heart for the day.
Let me introduce you to Buzz...
He was as good as gold and enjoyed all the fuss and attention.

I did do some work too! Lol
Here's the first of my finished samples that I made showing how to use the Inka Golds, one using a white Gesso base and the other black.

I'll be showing these techniques at my Kent class this Sunday as we will be using them on those projects too but in different ways.
I'll be back tomorrow with another update.
Have lovely evening.

Dream Catcher

Another blog post from me this evening,
Been busy so a lot to cram in at the moment! Lol
Ok, so I promised a twist on my ever faithful and trusty CD's.
I had a play a while ago with this idea and I'm now pleased that this project will be covered in my workshops and items I'm preparing for sale at a local gift shop.
***ALTERED CD WORKSHOP is now BOOKING***
All enquiries - craftyk@hotmail.co.uk
I've worked directly on the CD and decorated both sides, a lovely project to do and so easy.
I loved it!
As I'm working with Inka Golds on Saturday at
Lisa B Designs Extravaganza Day I'll also have it with me there.
Here's my Dream Catcher...
I've added my latest clock design here too.
Hope you like it and as always I so appreciate you stopping by my blog, thank you.
Enjoy the rest of your evening, I'm off to watch Masterchef...

Nearly time for the next workshop

Morning all,
Can't believe it's not long until the next Kent workshop, where does the time go!
There's lots in store coming up but for now here's a round up of this month's samples.
We're using Air dry clay to create simple embellishments on stencilled backgrounds alongside various stamps.
It's nearly the weekend and I wish you a good day.

Pretty tresses of washers and nuts

Morning everyone,
Hope you're having a good week so far.
I have a canvas to share today on which I've used a Stampendous stamp called The Look.
I had the idea of using washers and nuts intermingled with some prettiness to create tresses of hair.
I've had some wonderful feedback about this canvas which I'm so grateful for as it was just an experimental piece I wanted to play with.
I really loved doing this, it was great fun.

Off to get jobs done and make the most of the day ahead.

Have a lovely day.
Back soon, crafty Hugs xKx

Midweek already, another week whizzing by...
An early start for me today with an errand to do and then another journey on the infamous M25!
Before I head off I'm sharing a 15" x 8" canvas I did while watching tennis yesterday afternoon.
I'd had a busy morning getting washing and chores done so really enjoyed creating this easy project.
I used a selection of Decoart paints and mediums for this.

I'm missing my Wimbledon tennis fix today but not long until the excitement and anticipation builds again tomorrow!
I've had plenty to keep me occupied never the less.
Mind you with the showery weather this morning I guess it was good the players had their day off today.
Anyhow I promised a ***GIVEAWAY*** when my Facebook Page reached 700 Likes, so here we are.

The winner will be chosen at random and will receive a
BoBunny stamp set and a selection of Mixed Media items from my Website, this may include Rustic ribbons, Rose Petals, Mount board die cuts etc...
I would like to share with you some eye candy and something I've made which will be on sale at a local gift shop.
This is from a selection of gift and home decor items that I will have on display and for sale.
I've used an Oval MDF Plaque with the Large Ornate Lamppost along with some Vintage Collage Ribbon, white Webbing and Rose Petals.
