A Crafty Weekend in Bristol and Warwickshire

The weekend was full of fun and laughter amongst friends old and new with a lot of crafting activity thrown into the mix.
I have to thank my lovely buddy Jane Barber for organising the Bristol hall and the equally lovely Sheila and Angela from Pink Tulip Creations and Roy from Candy Box Crafts for their help and support at the Pink Tulip location.
I know I took a lot of people way out of their comfort zone with this project and I don't think they'll be looking back now. The results were just superb and I'm so proud of everyone's achievements.
I'll leave you with the results and a couple of pictures of a little visitor who popped in "Winston"
I'll be back again tomorrow with a link to my first Thursday post for Lisa B Designs xKx

Lavinia Stamps September Challenge "Add Some Ribbon"

Morning all,
I can't believe it's Sept already!
Today is the start of the new Lavinia Stamps Challenge over on the Blog, here's the direct link -
September, Challenge 9 "Add Some Ribbon".
Congratulations to last month's randomly chosen lucky winner, £40 to spend with the bonus of new stamps that Tracey has designed and just released to choose from, lucky winner!
There's such a great mix of versatile stamps and if you check out the rest of the DT's work you'll see some fantastic inspiration as always.
We received fabulous entries again last month so many thanks to everyone who joined us for the challenge.
Anyway on to my inspiration, I decided to make some shaped cards from nesting die sets, keeping the  stamping simple. I layered up the nesting shapes on my base cards with complimenting colours.
The backgrounds and wording were created from stencils, including a couple from Sweet Poppy.
Then the images, group poppies, thistles and roses stamped in black versafine.
Finishing off with my ribbon and a few gems.
As always we look forward to seeing your entries which can now be by email too, so why not have a go, good luck!
Thanks for stopping by today...xKx
