A little bit of Imagination...

Afternoon Everyone,

Nearly the Bank Holiday Weekend, do you have anything nice planned?
I wonder if the weather will be kind to us...

Part of my DT work for Lisa B Designs includes playing, I mean working!
with amazing products from Imagination Crafts.

Here on a 6 x 6 canvas I used their Grunge Elements stencil with
 Inkadinks sprays and Diamond Sparkle.

It's great sometimes to just play and see where we end up, this is where I ended up with this.
No overthinking just going with the flow...

Hope you like it.

Have a lovely evening, back soon.

Mixed Media Workshops

A very good morning to you,
Hope you had a wonderful weekend.
A quick posting from me to start the week and to let you know about my mixed media workshops.
Next on the agenda is a beautiful MDF Notelet box which we'll be transforming.
This went down a storm at the last workshop and was such an enjoyable day.
Dates can be pre booked monthly throughout the year for new projects, just contact me for booking.
Held in a bright, new, airy hall with oodles of light and all mod cons.
There are limited spaces for the next project and bookings are open for dates up until the end of the year.
Be great to see you there!
Have a lovely week.

Sweet Poppy Stencils and Summer Florals

Afternoon all,
I'm still slowly recuperating and it's being made easier with this gorgeous weather, the sunshine is always a lovely boost.
Today I'm sharing the first of some makes using some pretty Cath Kidston fabric as a backing for the Sweet Poppy stencils Fairy Pods.
Grunge paste and Silks glaze for the pods.
I love Shabby Chic Vintage style and wanted to create for use on cards and mixed media.
I've had these remnants for a while so it's been a good way of using them and so easy.
Thanks for popping by today, back soon.

The subtleness of Brusho's

Wednesday already...
Hope you all enjoyed a fab Easter without overdoing it!

A make from a while ago using the tiniest amount of Brusho colours, very diluted and a
Sharon Bennett, Hobbyart stamp set, Wonderful Day.
Brusho and stamp set available from Lisa B Designs.
This shows a much softer side of Brusho and the versatility that can be achieved.
I use these little pots of intensive colour far more than I ever thought I would and enjoy experimenting and creating with them a lot.
The opportunity to be completely random with them or apply more control if desired is what appeals to me.
I'll leave you with the Wonderful Day card this Wednesday...

Have a good day,

Zingy Lemon and Lime with Lavinia

Morning crafters,

The April challenge starts today over at lovely Lavinia Stamps.
A nice spring theme "Lemon and Lime"

The winner of the challenge, selected at random, receives a Voucher worth £40 to spend in the
The Lavinia Stamps Web shop.
As always the DT have put together lots of inspiration over on the
Lavinia Stamps Challenge Blog.

You don't need to have a Blog,  Email entries are accepted.

Many thanks to everyone who entered the last challenge, really wonderful work and congratulations to the lucky winner.

I'll leave you with my makes, two canvases and some fun tags.

On the first canvas I've stamped and embossed onto vellum, the second I've stamped directly onto the canvas and also stamped onto stamping card and cut out.
For the tags I've stamped and clear embossed, used Brusho's for colour along with the addition of the cute die cuts.

I've used stamps from the Zen range for all my makes here, if you'd like any further info please just ask.

Hope you can join us for this month's challenge.

Have a good day, I'll be back soon with some Easter makes...

Friday's sneaky peek...

Glorious day today,
Some of you know I'm taking some time out for some much needed convalescing after an accumulation of health issues that have really taken their toll.

Things are still ticking along never the less and I'm pottering and creating at my leisure and making a few changes here and there.

It's good to have this time to reflect...

Inspiration from a friend for future arty works
"I'm working on a Brand New Ending!"
and this is just the Begining...

My workshop ladies are being hugely supportive at this time, as they always are.
I do love the crafty time I spend with these genuinely lovely friends, away from so much negativity.
We laugh, chat and chill out learning from each other along the way...

Anyway today I'm sharing a sneaky peek of my make for the lovely Lisa B, to see the whole thing you'll have to pop over to my tutorial over on her blog here lisabdesignsinspiration.blogspot

I do hope you enjoy a lovely weekend whatever you're doing.

Thanks for popping by,

Happy Easter Weekend

Hello lovely people,
Today I'm popping by to wish you all a very lovely Easter Weekend.
For my makes this Easter I've used these gorgeous
Crowned Bunnies from Crafty Individuals and Designed by Alice Palace
I use to use Crafty Individuals Stamps a lot and decided they definitely needed revisiting.
The clock is the first of new designs that I am selling and taking commissions for.
I'll be adding a link for purchasing soon.
I really love these stamps and hope you like how I have used them here.

Enjoy your Easter Eggs and try not to eat them all at once!

Thanks for popping by today...

Mechanical Cat by Sweet Poppy Stencils

Before I blog my Easter makes I wanted to share a couple of makes using this fab new stencil,
Sweet Poppy "Mechanical Cat" complete with plug in mouse!
How fab is this design, so much fun to use!
The green background is done with Brusho and the orange is a mix of fluorescent paint and ink, it's hard to capture the vibrancy in a photo.
I used grung paste for both cats and the mouse.
Have a lovely evening, I'm looking forward to Masterchef...
